Suitability test for immission measurements 2018.
Description
The report summarises the results of this aptitude test. The competence in the measurement of carbon monoxide (CO), sulphur dioxide (SO2) and nitrogen oxides (NO and NO2) was tested. The measurement results of all 15 participating organisations were subjected to the same statistical evaluation procedures as foreseen for the EQASs of the European Reference Laboratories: according to the ‘Protocol for intercomparison exercises’, AQUILA document N37. Since February 2010, the Federal Environment Agency has regularly offered operators of national and international air quality networks, reference laboratories, as well as measuring instrument manufacturers, civil engineers and laboratories for immission measurements the opportunity to check the measurement accuracy of their systems for different air pollutants in interlaboratory tests.
