Description

As part of the opening of data provided for by the 3DS law, Lorient Agglomération makes this data available in BAL 1.3 format (Base Address Locale), as provided for by the standard defined by the AITF and used to feed the BAN (Base Address Nationale). The file we distribute includes translations of the routes and locations in Breton and is updated thanks to: * to alerts on SIGN’Address of GeoBretagne * to the deliberations sent by the Communes of Lorient Agglomération * to the differentials of the business applications administered by the DSI * to officers' feedback during checks The municipalities of Calan, Caudan, Inguiniel, Lorient, Plouay, Port-Louis, Riantec and Quistinic are not included in this lot. **Collection context** This data was constructed on the basis of bases of various origins and different qualities: * the DGFiP-labelled cadastre * orthophotographs at 20cm * different layers of in-house data * deliberations of roads of the Commune **Method of collection** Regarding geometry, the reference that we prefer is the cadastre (because this background is very widely used for all other applications) and the location of addresses is preferably the plate or the building. However, in addition, we rely on the most recent ortho that we have because it better reflects the real situation on the ground. Indeed, having several sources will overall be an interesting element to ensure a good level of completeness.
