Description

This dataset contains all the names of the persons appearing on the triptych (furniture designed by Camille Guibergia, 1916, Antibes), plus an additional table, accessible to the public on the ground floor of the town hall of Antibes cours Masséna. It was carried out under the conditions described in the attached available txt. "Death for France" is a posthumous honorary mention added to the civil status of a person in order to recognize his sacrifice in the service of France. The attribution of this mention is governed by Articles L. 511-1 to L. 511-51 of the Code of Military Invalidity Pensions and War Victims. For its part, the term ‘Death in deportation’ is governed by the provisions of Articles L. 512-1 et seq. of the Code on Military Invalidity Pensions and War Victims. For all intents and purposes, there is, in the Municipal Archives of Antibes, a guest book of the children of Antibes fallen at the Champ d'Honneur Guerre 1914-1918 (available on site) as well as photographs (also available on site and digitized and accessible on the Archives website).
