Primitive budget of the City of Grenoble
Description
This dataset is produced by the City of Grenoble, in order to present the revenue and expenditure forecasts within the City's budget, adopted by the City Council every year.
(digital applications or services, knowledge of the territory, information for citizens, etc.). The budget allocated to each budgetary operation in the previous year is also identified.
The data shall contain information on the nature of the budgetary operation (e.g. expenditure or revenue), its chapter (e.g. staff costs, taxes) and its voted amount for the year. Visualization-final-of-budget-primitive-of-the-City-of-Grenoble-2020
This dataset makes it possible to inform citizens in a transparent manner about the revenue sources and spending allocations of the municipality of Grenoble. The City’s spending is therefore of interest to every citizen, as it has a direct impact on our daily lives. This dataset then allows for various reuses, including visualizations and graphics that make it possible to represent the City's budget operations in a more accessible way. Cross-checked with the primitive budgets of previous and subsequent years, this dataset makes it possible to establish a change in budgetary priorities, taxes levied or taxes collected over several years. This dataset can also be compared with the primitive budget of other cities such as Marseille or Bordeaux, also available in open data.
