Evolution of the number of lawyers in France, sorted by bar, since 2002.
The data come from the annual statistical study of the Ministry of Justice, a centre for the evaluation of civil justice.
The "Total" field indicates the total number of lawyers registered in a year. This document includes the staff of the 164 bar associations in France (https://www.data.gouv.fr/en/datasets/base-de-donnees-des-barreaux-davocats-de-france/), as well as the former bar associations:
