Area favourable to the development of wind energy

Description

Background: The government’s instruction of 26 May 2021 invites the prefects of the region to carry out, in conjunction with local authorities, a mapping of the areas favourable to the development of wind power, in order to secure the achievement of the development objectives set by the Multiannual Energy Programming. Mapping should be based on objective and existing data, covering the main issues potentially influencing the development of wind energy. In the first place, it will make it possible to gather this information and ensure that all actors, project leaders and any other stakeholder, are aware of it. In the case of indicative mapping, it is not enforceable against the examination of applications for authorisation Detail: The areas favourable to the development of wind energy describe the territory of the BFC region in 4 levels of stakes. These areas have been built by crossing fifty layers of data with stakes spread across 7 themes (protected areas, environment, species, human occupation, heritage, landscape, aerial servitude) Each layer benefits from a success coefficient of completion of a wind project whose value has been established to say experts. Zoning exists in vector format and raster format. A.qml file is associated to display thematic analysis according to national recommendations. The RASTER file has a resolution of 2 km.
