WMS Water catchment area 1:10.000
Description
The smallest existing subdivision of a river basin is called the base catchment area. These areas have been demarcated throughout Baden-Württemberg. Four types of area are distinguished: Catchment, spring, intermediate and estuary areas. The hydrologically superior areas are aggregated from the base areas. Encryption and aggregation logic are derived from the “Directive for Territories and Water Encryption” (LAWA, 2005).
