List of municipalities by ABC zoning

Description

Defined in Article D304-1 of the Construction and Housing Code, zoning conventionally called ABC performs a “classification of the communes of the national territory into geographical areas according to the imbalance between the supply and demand of housing”. In descending order of tension, the geographical areas are: ABIS, A, B1, B2 and C. ABC zoning is used for more than twenty provisions, including: — the Pinel device: geographical scope of eligibility and ceilings of rents and resources of tenants. — the Denormandie device: rent and resource ceilings for tenants. — the Loc’Advantages device: resource ceilings for tenants. — intermediate rental housing (LLI) for institutional investors: geographical scope of eligibility and ceilings of rents and resources of tenants. — the social rental-accession loan (PSLA): ceilings on resources, rents and selling prices. — the social rental loan (PLS): rent ceilings. — the real joint and several lease (BRS): ceilings on the transfer of real rights and resources of tenants. — zero rate loan (PTZ) in the new and old: geographical scope of eligibility and resource ceilings. — mobilisation of public land: disposal haircut rate More information about ABC zoning [at this link](https://www.ecologie.gouv.fr/zonage-b-c).
