Airborne geophysical data

Description

As part of a three-year programme led by the Directorate-General for Housing and Nature Development with the assistance of BRGM’s project management, an airborne geophysical survey campaign was conducted on the French Massif Central in 2022 and 2023. This campaign will also continue in 2024. Measurements of electromagnetism, magnetism and gamma spectrometry have been carried out in order to produce data that can, among other things, increase geological and structural knowledge of these territories and better characterise hydrological, geothermal or mineral resources. The areas flying over in 2022 and 2023 on which geophysical data are available correspond to areas located in the French Massif Central.
