Transport stops in France
Description
This file gathers all the breakpoints present in the GTFS files identified on [the National Access Point to Transport Data](https://transport.data.gouv.fr). This is an extract from the database set up to feed the [discussion point exploration map](https://transport.data.gouv.fr/explore/gtfs-stops).
This publication is experimental, do not hesitate to contact the transport.data.gouv team if it does not meet your needs or to inform us of your uses.
For each point, the following data shall be accessible:
— Name of the dataset that lists the point
— Organisation that publishes the dataset
— Identifier of the dataset – this can be accessed at the URL https://transport.data.gouv.fr/datasets/{id}
— Resource identifier – the resource can be accessed at https://transport.data.gouv.fr/resources/{id}
— If existing mobility organising authority
— Region if existing
— Stop identifier within the GTFS file if existing
— Name of judgment
— Longitude
— Latitude
— Type of judgment: see [the GTFS documentation](https://developers.google.com/transit/gtfs/reference?hl=fr#stopstxt) for values
Limitations of the file to know:
— The judgments are not duplicated: two lines can refer to the same stop, as present in two different files. This is simply an aggregated list of stops present in each file. Stop_id identifiers are also not unique and cannot be used to double stops with certainty. **This file is therefore an experimental precedent for a national register of judgments, but does not constitute such a register.**
— The filing of the file is not automated and the data can date. Refer to the date of last publication.
— The columns present in the file may need to evolve, and are without guarantee of continuity for the time being.
