Refusal to comply identified by law enforcement (2012-2022)
Description
These data come from the National Interministerial Observatory of Road Safety (Onisr). They make it possible to know how many refusals to comply, and how many refusals to comply "dangerous" have been recorded, by the police forces on the one hand, and by the gendarmerie forces on the other hand, between 2012 and 2022.
Put into perspective with the number of uses of the weapon declared annually by the two forces, they reveal that [policemen shoot much more than gendarmes] (https://www.liberation.fr/societe/refusal-dobtemper-les-policiers-ont-la-gachette-plus-easy-que-les-gendarmes-20230917_PJBQYAU53VGRNHNUSBNHFRML4E/) for the same number of refusals to comply "dangerous" found.
The table is published as sent in August 2023 to _Libération_. These data were obtained in particular thanks to a favourable opinion from the Commission for Access to Administrative Documents (Cada).
