ABC zoning of municipalities – Tension of the housing market
Description
Defined in Article D304-1 of the Construction and Housing Code, zoning conventionally called ABC performs a “classification of the communes of the national territory into geographical areas according to the imbalance between the supply and demand of housing”. In descending order of tension, the geographical areas are: ABIS, A, B1, B2 and C. Area Aa is included in zone A, zones B1 and B2 form zone B.’
