Accessibility to primary care in metropolitan France

Description

The data contain the value of the SCALe index in shp format (projection: Lambert 93). It is a measure of accessibility to primary care (from the 2013 Permanent Base of Equipment) for each residential area (obtained by aggregation of the residential building of the TOPO® V2.1) of metropolitan France. It reads as an average distance (euclidian in this first version of the index) to a set of equipment accessible to the population. This distance was weighted by the theoretical pressure exerted on the equipment in question. The lower the value of the index, the higher the accessibility. This quantitative data has also been broken down into decile. In this version of the index, the Euclidean distance was replaced in favour of a distance by the road calculated from the Navstreets© network provided by HERE and ESRI France.
