**Background:** With more than 58 million consultations in 2021, our section “Advice to Travellers” has become an essential reference for preparing a trip abroad and having essential information during your stay. The Quai d’Orsay strives to constantly evolve the service it provides to the public, whether through the France Diplomatie portal or the Travel Advice mobile app, available on Android and iOs. A new version of the mobile app “Advice to Travellers” has just been released. Still as complete, it becomes easier to use and intuitive. Our search for service improvement leads us to question your uses and the data that could be of interest in the preparation of your trip and your presence on site. The purpose of this page is to present the available data and to study possible proposals for improving the services rendered to travellers. Whether you are a member of an NGO or the tourism sector, a partner of the administration, a citizen or a researcher attached to a university laboratory, do not hesitate to contact us. **For example:** The France Diplomatie website indicates the link to the list of airlines banned by the EU (https://transport.ec.europa.eu/transport-themes/eu-air-safety-list_en). The EU shall make available the data through: — A pdf allowing a European citizen to check the presence of an airline in a list — Of a pdf which does not allow easy handling of data in a computer system — A.xls file that does not meet the criteria of an open data set; in particular, the “open format” criterion (the file presupposes the acquisition of a proprietary product) and the criterion “readable for a machine” (the file needed to be modified in order to be able to integrate the data into a computer tool; this may cause errors).
