### Why a list of SSE companies (Social and Solidarity Economy)?
Article 6 of the ESS Act entrusts **Regional Chambers of the SSE** “the publication and maintenance of the list of SSE enterprises”. **ESS France** centralises the publication of this list on its website. All SSE companies, both employees and non-employees, are intended to be listed.
This list is mobilised by French banking institutions for the **book of sustainable and solidarity development (LDDS)** regulated by the law n° 2016-1691 known as the “Sapin II” law.
