Description
The dataset contains the history of the waterway system in the province of Friesland. Shown is the course of the waterways, both the current course, as well as cut-offs and partial dampings of the previous course. The file also contains, among other things, information about: the year of construction of the waterway, the function of the waterway over the centuries, the reason why the waterway or waterway was built at the time, the current use of the waterway, sources used and any other details regarding the history of the waterway.
