Description
SDAGE 2022-2027 — Chapter 5.4 Identification of trends in Nitrates concentrations in groundwater.
The reversal of any significant and sustainable upward trend in the concentration of any pollutant in groundwater resulting from the impact of human activity is one of the environmental objectives of the Water Framework Directive (...).
One of the maps presents the trends calculated for nitrates to the water body, with information on the mean nitrate content of MESO in 5 classes. The average used was obtained by the average of the averages for each MESO point.
The other map presents the 22 bodies of water at stake for the Adour Garonne basin: bodies of water for which an overall trend of the water body is increasing or stable and at least one monitoring point with an extrapolated nitrate concentration at maturity 2027 exceeding 40 mg/l.
