WMS Hydrogeological Maps BB (WMS-HGK)
Description
The Hydrogeological Maps of Brandenburg (WMS) provides data on the areas of mining active / discontinued, open pit mining areas and tipping, groundwater subsidence funnels of lignite mining, retention capacity by the soil zone according to the substrate type, reduced retention capacity (submerged areas), retention capacity by boulder gel, silt and clay, hydrogeological charts 1:50,000, artesian strained groundwater deposits as well as the hydrogeological spatial division. The HYK50 is in continuous development and currently covers about 60% of the country's area. It is subdivided into: the Near Surface Hydrogeology Map (HYK50-1), the Largely Covered Groundwater Complex Map (HYK50 2) and the Groundwater Coverage Protective Function Map (HYK50-3).
