Description
The names have been assigned after Meynen & Schmithüsen (1962), whereby the boundaries of the rooms are based on the biotope mapping. Compared to the other natural-spatial divisions used in the LLUR, this natural-spatial division has been reconstructed on a scale of 1:25,000. The geometries of the North Sea islands are not included, so that for representations the topography must be deposited in any case! Coastal strips have also been taken into account in digitalisation, but these are not separately attributed as such, as there is no further breakdown by Meynen & Schmithüsen.
