Description

The concept of “channel” was introduced to make the link between the physical immutable reality of the site, and the measurements provided by “physical meters”. This file defines the technical methods of counting (types of measured practices, method used to retrieve the data), and allows to group together measurements. Conversely, a channel does not define a physical identifier of the meter, voluntarily. This ensures that a first physical meter emits data on a channel from 10am to 11am, then a second physical meter takes over from 11am to 12pm, without changing the channel itself (continuity of the time series of measurements). This capability makes it possible, in particular, to manage correctly: — physical meter changes (maintenance operation, defective meter, temporary interruption) — reassignments to a site different from physical meters, in the form of “temporary meters”. These data are based on the national counting data scheme: https://schema.data.gouv.fr/etalab/schema-comptage-mobilites-channel/ This data must be associated with the “site” and “measurement” schemes for counting mobilities. They cannot be reused without these files.
