Description
The publication of housing data is essential in order to better understand and know the communal territory, the inhabitants and their behaviour.
On the one hand, housing is an important vector of public decisions that can rely on this data to direct a certain policy in this area (we can think here of the referencing of social housing in the municipalities, and their compliance with the law in this field).
Housing also allows a more in-depth analysis of inhabitants’ behaviours through modelling, panels, or chronological surveys. Therefore, needs can be estimated according to geographical areas or repeated behaviours in this area. It is also indirectly deduced from the financial data of the same inhabitants.
