Comprehensive schoolchildren studying in evasive spaces autumn 2018
Description
## Students studying in the evacuation facilities during the autumn term 2018.
The information was collected as a request for information to municipalities by the Finnish Broadcasting Company. These questions were asked:
1. How many comprehensive school students are in your municipality in total during the autumn semester 2018?
2. How many of your municipality’s comprehensive school pupils go to school in full or partial escape during the autumn semester 2018?
3. In which schools in your municipality have students been transferred to evasive spaces? (List the names of the schools.)
4. Why have students been transferred to the evacuation facilities? We ask you to identify the reasons for each school. (e.g. South Hervanta School, indoor air problems)
5. How many of your municipalities’ comprehensive school pupils will study in evasive spaces during the spring term 2019? (The municipality’s assessment.)
The data consists of two csv files, of which the file __Students_by municipality.csv_ contains the following columns:
* Municipality
* County
* No information available (TUE/FREE)
* Total students in the municipality
* Students in evasive spaces during the autumn term 2018
* Share of students studying in evacuation facilities during the autumn term 2018 of the total municipality’s pupils
* Students in evasive spaces during the spring term 2019, municipal assessment
* The share of students studying in evasive spaces in the spring term 2019 among the pupils in the whole municipality, based on the municipality’s assessment
Note: If there are less than 10 pupils, this has been replaced by ‘under 10’. If the cell value is not available, it is left blank.
The file __Reported_schools_and_cause information.csv_ is based on municipalities’ announcements of schools where pupils have had to be moved to evacuation facilities. The data are in raw form, i.e. as reported by the municipalities. Clear cause information has been divided into the column ‘Reason’, while other information about a municipality or school is included in the column ‘Additional information’. The file contains the following columns:
