Geological 3D Model of the Elbe Valley Zone
Description
The geological model visualises the sequence and distribution of the geological rock layers of the area of the Elbtalzone around Dresden, Pirna and Meissen in a 3 dimensional space. The geological model of the Elbe valley zone is a basic model. This depicts the encountered rock layers of the chalk up to the base mountains in the underground (up to 10 000 m below NN). Furthermore, the model integrates geological disturbances and was created as GOCAD model in version 2009/4.
