Hospital admissions; mortality, urgency, diagnosis classifications CCS and VTV
Description
This table contains figures on the number of hospital admissions (clinical admissions and long-term observations without an overnight stay) and the number of deaths during these hospital admissions of persons who were registered in the Personal Records Database (BRP) at any time in the calendar year.
The figures are broken down by gender, age, urgency of admission and diagnosis according to the
Clinical Classifications Software (CCS) of the American Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality and developed according to the main and subgroups of the diagnostic classification for the Public Health Future Outlooks (VTV) of the RIVM.
Data available from: 2015.
Status of figures:
Figures for the last year are provisional, the other figures are final.
Changes as of 14 May 2024:
Provisional figures for 2020 and 2021 have been finalised and provisional figures for 2022 have been added.
When will there be new figures?
New figures for 2023 are expected to be added in the second quarter of 2025.
