IRS (Indian Remote Sensing) satellite images captured by the WIFS (Wide Field Sensor), which have been calculated the Maximum Ten-Year Value Compound of the Normalized Difference Vegetation Index (NDVI), which based on the contrast between the red and near-infrared bands of the spectrum, highlights the vegetation coverage and its vigor over large areas.
