Experimental packet capture 802.11ac 2nd
Description
This data set is composed of wireless network capture file from the LIP laboratory of ENS Lyon.
These pcap files have been capture using Qualcomm Atheros QCA986x/988x 802.11ac card,debian 10 as operating system and the ath10k driver.
802.11ac (Wi-Fi 5) have been used in the 5 GHz band using the maximum bandwidth of 80 MHz
Experiment description:
A source node produce a satured flow of 120seconds to a destination node using iPerf3. A thrid node is used ad a sniffer the capture the traffic. Two parameters are expolored: the antennas positions and the distance between the emiting node and the receveing node. 4 antenna positions are used: "vertical" (perpendicular to the floor), "horizontal" (parallel to the floor), "fan" (left antenna pointing left, middle antena poiting straight to the ceiling, right antenna pointing right) and "left" where all the antennas are poiting in the same direction. This parameter is the first in the files names. The distance in meters appear second in the files names.
For {each antennaPosition;distance} 3 runs have been performed; this is the thrid part of the files names.
The experiment took place in a corridor of the LIP laboratory on the second floor.
