Tsunami signs in Antibes Juan-les-Pins
Description
List of 32 signs installed on the Commune to indicate to the population the evacuation routes to take shelter and safety depending on the location.
Since the beginning of 2022, Civil Protection has implemented a tsunami scheme at the request of the Prefecture. Tsunami risk is included in the Communal Major Risk Information File (DICRIM)
A tsunami is a long wave caused by an earthquake, an underwater landslide or other disturbance.
Action to be taken during a tsunami warning: moving from the shoreline 200 meters and 5 meters high
