Description
The department performs all tasks of the public waste disposal agency for the state capital Dresden in accordance with the Circular Economy Act, the Saxon Waste Management and Soil Protection Act, the Electrical and Electronic Equipment Act and the Packaging Ordinance.
It is responsible for the development, updating and implementation of the waste management concept, the waste management statutes and for waste disposal. It is also responsible for cleaning public streets and squares.
