Description
This background was made from AdminExpress COG CARTO, produced by IGN. The map background was generalised, then the anamorphosis was realised using the software ScapeToad. ScapeToad uses gastner/Newman algorithm.
The projection used is Lambert-93.
The principle of anamorphosis is to make the surface of each municipality proportional to its population. The correspondence is of course not perfect.
