Legis-2022 — Coding of political nuances of candidates in the general elections of 12 and 19 June 2022

Description

The LEGIS-2022 project brings together about 30 political scientists specialising in electoral and parliamentary studies, from the main French research centres, at Sciences Po Paris, Sciences Po Grenoble, Université Panthéon-Sorbonne, Université Panthéon-Assas, University of Lille, University of Nice Côte d’Azur. He devoted himself to producing a labelling of the partisan affiliation of each of the 6290 candidates in the general elections of the hexagon, overseas and French foreigners, according to a grid with 39 political nuances (compared to 16 for the election office of the Ministry of the Interior). Its main objective is to understand how the upcoming election is part of the political recomposition underway in our country.
