Description

The Privacy Impact Assessment (PIA) was developed as part of the Department’s commitment to protection of personal information. It also meets the Management of Information Technology Security requirements obligating departmental major services to undergo a security and privacy assessment at this point. The project addressed the sharing of personal information of offenders under the jurisdiction of CSC with PPTC so as to allow PPTC to more effectively administer its mandate of passport issuance and revocation.
