Description

Since 31 January 2022, as part of its Climate Plan and its **Air Quality Action Plan** (AQAP), the **Nice Côte d'Azur Metropolis** has supplemented its many soft mobility actions with a **Low Mobility Emission Zone** (LMEA), i.e. a perimeter within which the circulation of the most polluting vehicles is gradually restricted. **the perimeter is as follows:** - The Promenade des Anglais (beginning Avenue des Grenouillères, ending Avenue Max Gallo), - the United States Wharf (starting Max Gallo Avenue / finishing Rauba Capeu Wharf), - the Quai Rauba Capeu (starting Quai des Etats Unis / ending rue de Foresta) - the hypercentre of the city of Nice within a perimeter made up of the following routes: to the south, the Promenade des Anglais included, to the north, the Chemin Mathis not included, to the east, Boulevard Carabacel not included and Avenue Désambrois not included, and to the west, Boulevard Grosso not included. **VEHICLES PROHIBITED within this perimeter:** **As at 31 January 2022:** PL>3,5t and Buses - Crit'Air 5 and unclassified **As of 1 January 2023:** PL>3,5t and Crit'Air 4, 5 and unclassified coaches Light passenger vehicles in Crit’Air 5 and unclassified Light commercial vehicles in Crit’Air 5 and not classified **As of 1 January 2024:** PL>3,5t and Crit'Air buses 3, 4, 5 and unclassified Light passenger vehicles in Crit’Air 4, 5 and unclassified Light commercial vehicles in Crit’Air 4, 5 and unclassified **Not applicable:** - collector's vehicles, - vehicles for disabled persons - two wheels, three wheels, and motorized quadricycles.
