Replacement frequency of soil water (VBK50)
Description
Based on the data from the preliminary soil map of Saxony-Anhalt, the analysis is carried out for the data level exchange frequency of soil water. The percentage annual replacement frequency (AH) of the soil solution was calculated in the soil space under consideration.
Ah [%/a] = SWR [mm/a] * 100/FKWe [mm].
SWR: Leachate rate (according to TUB-BGR method)
FKWe: Field capacity in the effective root space

AH_K: Classification of exchange frequency
Class 1: very low (< 70 %/a)
Class 2: low (70 – < 100 %/a)
Class 3: low (100 – < 150 %/a)
Class 4: low (150 – < 250 %/a)
Class 5: low (>= 250 %/a)
