Description
Landscape typology according to relevant environmental factors influencing the possibilities of growing energetic crops (spatial synthesis of climate characteristics, relief, soil properties). Evaluation of the potential of biomass cultivation with a view to strengthening the non-production functions of the landscape (landscape connectivity — linking appropriate sites, increasing heterogeneity of especially agricultural parcels, anti-erosion measures, etc.) and the competitiveness of biomass for energy purposes. Evaluation of the expected development of bioenergy on biodiversity. Dynamic model for simulating bioenergy development scenarios (the potential of biomass in relation to non-production functions, development of agrotechnology, etc.). The impact of the development of agrotechnology and non-production functions of the landscape on the economy of growing energy crops.
