WMS LGL-BW SAT Sentinel-2 2024 CIR 10m ground resolution
Description
Baden-Württemberg mosaics of the satellite data of Sentinel 2 from 2024 in CIR (MSI Color-Infrared, Sentinelbands: 8/4/3). The so-called colour infrared image consists of the Near Infrared (NIR), Red and Green channels. From this representation, the vitality state of vegetation can be deduced. Healthy vegetation has a high reflectance in the infrared range and therefore appears bright red, while sick or dead vegetation is depicted in brown to gray tones.
