Structure of the main residence park
Description
This dataset contains the structure of the main residence stock in metropolitan France, including energy performance. The selected data are as follows: type of accommodation (apartment or house), construction period, heating fuel, surface class and energy class. Each possible combination of these variables corresponds to a row in the file with the last column (IPONDL) containing the corresponding number of dwellings (in thousands).
These data were obtained by matching the housing detail file from the census with a version of the DPE database corrected to take into account the defects inherent in the conditions for the completion of the EPRs.
