District of Gütersloh: Wind turbine potential
Description
Study on behalf of the Environment Department of the Gütesloh district of areas on their suitability as a location for wind turbines. The potential areas were determined by buffering (around protected areas, settlements and residential buildings, forest areas, traffic routes and electricity routes) on existing maps. They serve as the first basis for a revision of the land use plans of the municipalities for the designation of wind priority areas.
