Departmental Plan of Walking and Hiking Routes (PDIPR) – Department of Calvados

Description

The departmental plan of walking and hiking routes – PDIPR – was drawn up by the Department of Calvados, in accordance with the Law of 22 July 1983 and its implementing decree of 30 August 1988 establishing the PDIPR. **Attributes for filtering, by legal status, the paths entered in the PDIPR**: * SRB: Rural Road * EC: exploitation path * CH: towpath * Staff Note: Convention of passage * PC: the Communal Passage * VC/VCO: Municipal road/open municipal road * VF: **Context of collection** In order to translate geographically the departmental plan of walking and hiking routes - PDIPR, the Department relies on a geographic information system - GIS - which it has been administering since 2002. **Method of collection** The tourism agency, Calvados Attractivité, created at the initiative of the Department of Calvados, has generated a vector layer consisting of polylines corresponding to the routes of the PDIPR.
