Corine Land Cover, also abbreviated CLC, is a project for the unified classification of the most important forms of land use initiated by the European Commission. Corine stands for Coordinated Information on the European Environment. The land use in Saarland after Corine Landcover has been incorporated into the presentation of the information from the Water Framework Directive for overview purposes.
