Plan Départemental des Itinéraires de Promenade et de Randonnement (PDIPR) — Puy-de-Dôme
Description
Drawing up the departmental plan for walking and hiking itineraries (PDIPR) is a departmental competence under Article L 361-1 of the Environmental Code. it lists routes open to pedestrian and VTT hiking in each department. These routes should encourage the discovery of natural sites and rural landscapes by developing hiking.
In accordance with the law, the Departmental Council of Puy-de-Dôme has for several years embarked on a proactive policy of improving the network of hiking paths. The aim is to create favourable conditions for the discovery of the most beautiful sites of the Department in all its diversity.
