Renewable Energy Atlas Flanders - Additional potential energy production from private solar water heaters - technical scenario
Description
This map layer is part of the Renewable Energy Atlas Flanders. In this technical scenario, the theoretical, technical maximum with regard to the additional production potential is estimated for private solar water heaters. To estimate the production potential, we base ourselves on the number of households per municipality that currently do not have a solar water heater and their expected heat demand for domestic hot water. This potential is then allocated spatially to the remaining residential roof surface. For more information, see the report. The hotspots in Flanders are presented with a filtered image of the results. The figures per municipality can also be consulted in the attached table.
