Orthofoto 2010 Bund – Summer – quasi true – CIR
Description
The false color infrared true orthophoto is based on ADS80 aerial image stripes from summer 2010. False color infrared images are a combination of channels near infrared, red and green. True orthophotos are tilt-free. They are accurate in all areas.
**Purpose**: The data were obtained by Grün Stadt Zürich for the survey of green flat roofs and green roofing potential in Zurich.
Since vegetation primarily reflects in the spectrum of near-infrared, the false color images are ideally suited for vegetation/environmental analyses. Furthermore, true orthophotos have no tilting (orthogonal) and thus have a very good fit to the roof surfaces of the 3D city model of the city of Zurich.
