Description
National Chitalishte “N.Y. Vaptsarov” was founded in 1961. First members of the Chitalishte Board are: Stoyu Kashev — teacher, Penka Krasteva — librarian, Petar Chikichev, eng. Dimitar Nikolov, Stanko Ignatov — teacher, Slavey Rusev — teacher, Atanas Grozdanov — educator. In the first year of its existence, the Chitalishte does not have its own building, there is no material base, only 272 volumes of books in the library, which is housed in a room from the administrative building of DMP — Madzharovo. The first reporting and election meeting after the establishment of the Chitalishte took place on January 20, 1963. Since the establishment of the Chitalishte chairpersons are: Mityu Kanev, Dimitar Panayotov, Stoyu Kashev, Ivanka Kasheva, Boris Lotev, Hristo Nikolov, Zhivka Yanakieva, Lydia Velkova, Tatyana Stoyanova.
