Coastal Water Masses - Whole France - Version Rapportage 2016
Description
A coastal water body is a distinct and significant part of the surface waters between the baseline used for measuring the breadth of territorial waters and a distance of one nautical mile. WFD reporting correspondence: This entity corresponds to WISE's Coastal Water Body (CWBODY) concept. It makes it possible to define environmental objectives, to assess the state of the environment and subsequently to verify the achievement of these objectives.
The version published on the SANDRE website is in line with the 2016 report. The next version of the Water mass reference system (provisional water bodies, defined for the State of Places) is planned for 2019.
Layers shall be distributed in a format consistent with the SANDRE Data Dictionary of the Water Body Repository, version 1.3.
