Description
the designation of nitrate-sensitive abstraction areas, the assessment of the nitrate vulnerability and the designation of the nitrate action areas shall ensure that current and future drinking-water resources provide maximum protection.
The zoning guideline (MST, 2000) forms the basis for assessing the nitrate vulnerability of water reservoirs and the designations of nitrate-sensitive abstraction areas.
