Potential natural vegetation (pnV) in Saxony 1:50 000
Description
The data of the “potential natural vegetation” (pnV) provide information on the (final) state of the natural vegetation of Saxony, which would prevail under the current site conditions if the land use by humans remained. For the PNV of Saxony there are data for maps in the scales of 1:50 000, 1:200 000 and 1:300 000. The pnV 1:50 000 was collected on behalf of the Saxon State Office for the Environment and Geology on behalf of the Saxon State Office for the Environment and Geology and further deepened as part of the research and development project “Map of Potentielle Natural Vegetation Germany 1:500 000, subproject Saxony” on behalf of the Federal Agency for Nature Conservation. The scale 1:200 000 represents an intermediate manufactured to produce the scale 1:500 000.
