Young people with AWBZ indication; yes/not by Youth Act, region, 2011-2014
Description
This table provides regional information on the number of young people under the age of 18 who have an indication of care without residence and/or care with residence in the reporting year (AWBZ-funded). The indications have been issued by the Centre Indicationstelling Zorg and by the Youth Care Offices.
The figures are broken down by care that may or may not be transferred to the new Youth Act 2015 and by regions, and young people may have indications for multiple positions in the reporting year. As a result, the individual functions do not add up to the total. As of 1 January 2015, part of the positions will be transferred to the new Youth Act and some of the positions will be transferred to other laws. As a result, the number of people with care who does or does not pass to the new youth law does not add up to the total number of persons because persons in both categories can occur.
The classification by municipality was made not on the basis of the registration in the DPA but on the basis of the young person’s actual residence on 1 January of the reporting year or on the first registration in the DPA. It is based on the principle of residence as applied in the Youth Act, which will enter into force from 2015.

No, no, no. This table has been discontinued. Figures on youth care from 2015 will be published in separate tables (see paragraph 3).
When are new figures coming?
Due to the introduction of the 2015 Youth Act, there will be no new figures.
