Nature management plans Subsidy system Nature and Landscape (SNL)

Description

The Nature Management Plan (NBP) is a policy framework for the provincial nature policy. In the Nature Management Plan, provinces define and describe the areas where managers can receive subsidies for the management and development of nature, agricultural nature and landscape features. Subsidy is only possible for the management types of the Nature and Landscape Index that are limited and defined in the Nature Management Plan. The boundary is indicated on two maps, the management type map and the ambition map. The management type map shows the current nature situation for (agricultural) nature management. The ambition map shows the provinces' ambition for (agricultural) nature. In agricultural nature and landscape management, we also work with search areas agricultural nature management and search area water. These are limited search areas within which subsidy for agricultural nature management for one of the four agricultural habitats and the category of water can be applied for. The agricultural habitats are also referred to as agricultural nature types. The 3 agricultural habitats are the types A11, A12 and A15 of the Index Nature and Landscape. The water category consists of the type W01.
