Perimeters of the Morvan Regional Natural Park

Description

The Morvan Regional Natural Park was created in 1970 to protect and enhance the richness of its cultural, natural and landscape heritage, the balance of which is considered fragile. Every 15 years, the Park must revise its Charter. At the end of this revision, the classification of the perimeter of the Park is renewed. The procedure for revising the Morvan Regional Natural Park Charter for the period 2020-2035 is now complete. It includes in its new perimeter 133 communes distributed in 8 communities of communes and 4 departments of the region Burgundy Franche County. These local and regional authorities have deliberated favourably to be classified or reclassified within the Park. This dataset lists all the perimeters of the Park since its creation: → historical perimeter from 1970 to 1996 → scope of the Charter 1997-2007 → perimeter of the Charter 2008-2019 → scope of study for the 2020-2035 Charter → current scope of the Charter 2020-2035
