Description
The research data on “Fan memory recovery” was collected in 2011-2012. The collection was carried out by the Music Archive and researcher Janne Poikolainen, who used the data in his dissertation “music fan and modernising youth” (2015).
The purpose was to gather memories of fans of different artists, bands, music styles and events. The collection was directed to former and current admirers without age, time or genre limits. The collection was answered via online form or e-mail.
All direct and indirect identification data and possible image attachments have been removed from the material published online. More extensive material, which includes the respondent’s place of residence and education, as well as the professions of parents, is available to researchers at the Music Archive.
